My 5 for Education

Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan has issued a call for your words about why education matters. (Watch the introductory video above.) Inspired by a "Good Morning, America" segment, she started her YouTube channel to break down barriers because "suspicion, intolerance and mistrust are driving us apart."

The theme for World Thinking Day 2010 is to end extreme poverty and hunger. As Girl Scouts, we could make the world a better place by reaching out and being considerate and caring of those less fortunate than us. Think of how education could help end poverty and hunger for the 74 million children around the world who are out of school.

"Because we're smarter when we listen and stronger when we share." Let's hear your words.

Take a look at her video and compose your own 5 word video response. My 5 For Education.com

Be sure to send a link to your 5 second video to us, so we can post Girl Scouts' thoughts here. Send to Kristin H.
