Attention Colorado Girl Scouts! Have you shot some video of a recent Girl Scout event in your area? Share your video from your event by uploading it to Girl Scouts of Colorado's video Web site. Videos will be streamed on this Web site for other Girl Scouts to view and for the media to use. Please make sure that you have permission from all the people in your video to post it on the Internet before you do so.

To share your Girl Scout Video, you'll need to first make sure it's less than 10 minutes and smaller than 100MB. Then, visit www.youtube.com to get started.

  1. Click "Upload Videos" in the upper-right-hand corner of any YouTube page.
  2. Enter as much information about your video as possible, including title, description, tags and category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!
  3. Determine if you want your video set to public or private.
  4. Click the "Continue Uploading" button.
  5. In the next window, click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload.
  6. Click the "Upload Video" button.
  7. Once your upload is complete you will be given a link to Embed the video on your website. Copy the code in the box and paste it into an email to Amanda K.
