Deadline to nominate a girl for a Huggable Heroes award approaches
JAN. 28, 2010 — The Build-A-Bear Workshop® Huggable Heroes® program recognizes young people doing community service.
Girl Scouts is full of young leaders, so nominate someone for the 2010 Huggable Heroes award today.
The Huggable Heroes program recognizes young leaders between the ages of 8 and 18 years old, doing extraordinary things in her community or around the world to better the lives of others. Now through Feb. 26, entries are being accepted for the 2010 search for Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes.
Ten Huggable Heroes will be selected and each will be awarded with a $7,500 educational scholarship and $2,500 in the form of a donation to the 501 (c)(3) charity of his/her choice. Entry forms are available at all Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, and online at www.buildabear.com/huggableheroes .
Anyone can nominate for this award and young leaders can even nominate themselves.
