Top-seller events celebrate girls' cookie successes
June 9, 2009 -- Girl Scouts who sold 750 + packages of Girl Scout Cookies got to choose between five top-seller events planned around the state.
The first was the May 16 Cog Train at Pikes Peak afternoon ride. Despite the early morning fog and crisp Colorado air, Leader Laura C. of Troop 931 said it was a beautiful trip.
On June 6, hundreds of Girl Scouts and their families enjoyed a day at Elitch Gardens in Denver with lunch at the pavilion.

On May 30, girls in Durango gathered at Bar D Chuck Wagon for a dinner event. On June 13, top-sellers will enjoy an afternoon at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Loveland. The final event is on June 20 at Bananas Fun Park in Grand Junction.
