Gold Award

Silver & Gold Award Celebrations

Each year, Girl Scouts celebrates the young women who have earned the two highest awards in Girl Scouting. Silver Award recipients are recognized by troop; Gold Award recipients are honored individually. Gold Award project displays are available before the ceremony and during the light reception afterward. Families are welcome and reservations are required. Dress is uniforms for scouts and appropriate business attire for family and friends.

Girl from around the state are welcome to attend any ceremony that works best for them, and can arrange this by contacting Gwen P.  If you have not received an invitation by April 11  and would like to attend the Denver Celebration, please contact Gwen immediately.

Deadlines:  All  Gold Award projects to be honored at the spring celebrations must be completed across the state by March 15.  Final Presentations in Denver must be presented by the March 11 committee meeting. The deadline for Silver Award recognition is March 15 at  5p.m. for report summaries.

Denver & Fort Collins

The 2010 celebration will be held at El Jebel Temple on April 26 at 7 p.m. Please reserve a space by contacting Gwen P. 

Colorado Springs & Pueblo

The 2010 Celebration, honoring Bronze, Silver & Gold Award recipients will be held May 27,  7 p.m. at the El Pomar Foundation.   RSVP to Marty L.


Grand Junction, Durango

No official ceremonies are planned at this time.
