Silver & Gold Award Celebrations

The Silver & Gold Award recipients were honored at an event April 28, 2008, at 7 p.m. The event was held at the El Jebel Shrine in northwest Denver and recognized girls who have earned these prestigious awards from April, 2007 to March, 2008. Forty-nine young women received the Gold Award and 249 received the Silver Award.
Colorado Springs
“Celebrating the Gold” will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008. This year’s ceremony honoring the Gold and recognizing the Silver and the Bronze will be held at the Penrose House Pavilion at El Pomar at 1661 Mesa Avenue, Colorado Springs. Reception immediately following. Families, troop members, friends and special guests are welcome. Seating available at 6:30 p.m. Girl Scout uniform or business attire requested.
