The Girl Scouts of Colorado Training Classes now have on-line registration so please use it!  Remember to include an e-mail address so we can send a confirmation of your registration, the training location and contact you if the training is cancelled.

Here is the list of required training* for new leaders/assistants.  Please note that Leadership Essentials* is also required for any leader/assistant who has not taken it previously.

  • GSUSA Volunteer On-line Orientation* required, new leaders should take this online first
  • Nuts & Bolts * (1.5 hours) required, hands-on, practical guide for new leaders to navigate the forms, procedures and safety issues of becoming a Girl Scout leader (all Nuts & Bolts classes are linked within Leadership Essentials - please register there).
  • Leadership Essentials * (1.5 hours) required for all leaders/assistants, for the trainer-led course or Leadership Essentials Homestudy options.  This class covers all age levels and only needs to be taken one time.  There is no longer a specific course required for changing age levels, but we will offer age level enrichment workshops.

NEW LEADERS:  If you are a new leader, please read and print the New Leader Starter Kit.  It will help you get started and answer many of your questions.
