Adult Positions

Girl Scouts of Colorado Council adult volunteers receive many benefits from their Girl Scout experiences. These include enhanced career skills, parenting skills and sharing hobbies, adventures, knowledge and personal experiences with adults and girls. Become a Girl Scout volunteer today! Here are some of the positions we have available:

  • Administrative – Are you great at managing, analyzing, organizing and coordinating? Or, are you bilingual and looking for a chance to volunteer your skills in translation? Volunteer to be an office aide at your local service center!  
  • Adult Development - Would you like to educate, motivate and facilitate groups of adults? Train troop leaders, or other adults to do their best job possible!
  • Membership Liaison – Are you at your best when supporting other people to accomplish a goal? Work with troops of Girl Scouts, schools, or entire service units to bring Girl Scout programming to every area in Colorado!
  • Power Up facilitators — Volunteers are needed to help bring the Power Up program to girls in your area. View the volunteer position description to find out more.
  • Media Messenger – This is a volunteer position that can work for you! Work with the communications staff to promote Girl Scouts of Colorado with the media and more in your local community. Time commitment is flexible. Must have a passion for promoting all the good Girl Scouting does in the community, as well as have strong writing and interpersonal communication skills. Training and tools provided by Girl Scouts of Colorado. If you are interested, contact Amanda K. at 303-607-4844 or 1-866-827-7033, and she will work with you on the application process.
  • History Committee — We have a wealth of Girl Scout historical treasures and stories within our communities and our combined legacy councils. Girl Scouts of Colorado wants to build and preserve archival collections to promote our rich Girl Scout legacy. The history committee is looking for those stories, those treasures from all over our state. Please help us to identify volunteers in your area to help us combine these resources to share with everyone. We’d like to get a contact for each of our areas.At the present, we have a committee meeting via teleconferencing once a month trying to organize volunteers and archival items from everywhere. We want everyone to have access to our inventories, make historical kits for check out and have items for display in areas all over the state, especially with cookies, World Thinking Day, GS Birthday, camps, membership drives and our 100th Birthday coming up!   • Policy – Do you have great ideas you’d like to share to enhance the future of Girl Scouting? Serve on our Membership Connection Committee and make your voice heard!
  • Resource Development – Does your dream job involve events or connecting to people to share the importance of Girl Scouts? Help plan events, assist in fund development or grant writing, or speak to others about the value of Girl Scouting! You could also become a cookie manager or QSP and Nuts manager.
