Cookie Club helps catch a missing order

By Jessica, a Girl Scout from Centennial

After going door-to-door asking neighbors if they wanted to buy Girl Scout Cookies, we would go to the Little Brownie Bakers Cookie Club to record new contacts and keep track of the number of cookies sold. We would log in, go to “My Cookie Planner,” then “Add a New Contact.” We’d fill out the name, check off whether we contacted them by phone, note or in-person, then click on “Save Contact.” A box would appear telling us the contact has been added. Then we’d record the total packages ordered. It was at this point one day that we noticed that one of our customers didn’t have an order on their line. We thought that they must have put their order on someone else’s line. Since the customer missing the order was the last person contacted that day, we guessed that he accidentally marked his order on the line right above his. We went out the next day to talk with this customer and ask him what his order was. He gave us his order again and he saw that he did put his order on the line above his. Just to make sure we had the correct order for the other customer, we went back to his house too. Both customers appreciated what we did for them.
