You do what you want to do! Girl Scouts is for every girl! All girls in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to join!
- Girl Scouts welcomes all girls regardless of race, color, ethnicity, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, physical ability or socioeconomic status.
- Girl Scouts is open to all girls in kindergarten through 12th grade and men and women over the age of 18.
- All members must make the Girl Scout Promise and accept the Girl Scout Law.
- Members pay annual membership dues of $12 (financial assistance is available).
If you don't have time to be in a troop or there isn’t a troop that works for you, consider becoming a Juliette. Juliettes are Girl Scouts who are not affiliated with a specific troop, but who are able to discover, connect and take action at their own pace. As a Juliette, you may choose from programs, events and activities available to all Girl Scouts in Colorado and across the nation!
What level of Girl Scout would you be?

Girl Scouts is not just about being part of a troop. You've got options* ...
Camp - Participate in day or resident camps with a focus on outdoor activities and environmental education or a wide variety of themed camps.
Events - Attend events in your area such as overnights at the zoo, a mall lock-in or Power Up anti-bullying program
Series - Got a passion? Share it with other Girl Scouts! Girls participate in a series program on a specific theme with the same group of girls over a set time frame; perhaps a high-adventure teen group or a series of technology workshops over six weeks!
Travel - Hit the road, take a cruise or explore far-off lands! Girls plan, earn money, prepare and participate in regional, national and international trips.
Troops - Still a popular option, especially with younger Girl Scouts. Girls participate in a series of programs with the same group of girls over an academic year.
Virtual - Girls get together in a safe, secure online setting supplemented by in-person interactions.
* Juliettes are individual Girl Scouts -- they participate in whatever works best for their schedule and are not part of a troop. They might participate in all of the above!
