Girl Scouts of Colorado volunteer trainers work closely with new and experienced volunteers to help prepare them for their volunteer roles. Our training program is designed to support growth in teh volunteer leadership role and improve the experience of the girls we all work for. The STAC was created to connect Colorado trainers together to support each other and GSCO, and to have FUN! We meet monthly via webinar to discuss current challenges, celebrate achievements and plan upcoming trainer events.STAC welcomes new partipants who want to have a voice in GSCO training! STAC organizes periodic events open to ALL GSCO trainers! These events are a chance for all trainers to get connected to the latest GSCO news, training design updates and discussion, event information, and your chance to give feedback and get heard.
GSCO is excited to announce a partnership in the works with the American Red Cross that will allow us to bring discounted training in emergency preparedness and safety to volunteers and girls. We are currently seeking volunteers interested in instucting these courses for Girl Scout leaders, as well as Service Units who would like to partner with us to bring training to volunteers in your area!
