This is a four week series starting on Friday June 7th and ending on Friday June 28th. It will run every Friday in June from 4-6pm. Girls will need to attend every four Fridays of the session.

Girls will learn the basics of being a PA including working with girls and adults, age characteristics of different program levels, as well as program planning and coordination.
The Camp Specialty is for girls interested in being PAs at camp and covers Outdoor Skills including cooking, fire building, and knife safety.
This training is an overnight and will include other activities as well.
Girls must have completed at least one Leader In Action (LiA) award before they can register for this program.
After this training, girls will need to complete six activity sessions (PA internship) to complete their training and earn their pin.
Adults are encouraged (but not required) to attend. The cost is free and you may be asked to help chaperone the girls at night if the trainer is unable to spend the night. Adult training including “overnights” is a plus.

Have you always loved archery? Become a certified teacher in only one day! There are three opportunities this spring and early summer to complete your Level 1 Certification in Archery.
This certification is recognized by the USA Archery and National Field Archery Association. This course is designed to qualify instructors for short term recreational archery programs.
You will be able to teach basic archery skills to others confidently and safely. Certification is good for 3 years from date of issue.
Cost covers your materials, your certification, and lunch. The archery range is outside so please be prepared to spend a portion of the day outside.
Be sure to start your season on target by aiming for your mark to teach Archery in 2013!

Every girl has been to a sleepover and every girl can say that bullying usually happens at these events and they turn out to not be so fun. Well sleepovers will never be the same after you come to Power Up Your Sleepover. Girls will learn how to recognize the strength within and how to become advocates against bullying, as well as how to intervene when they see something wrong. Girls will learn fun sleepover games and how to have a sleepover drama and gossip free. Breakfast and snacks are provided as well as the Brand New Power Up Patch.

Bring your personal gear and camping equipment, including a tent, and we will provide the food and fun! The program includes campfires, cookouts, crafts, outdoor activities, songs and games.
This camp is located in the lower portion of Magic Sky, which is designed for tent camping only, and there is no access to the resident camp. There is no running water or shower facilities, and campers may be required to walk a distance of 1/4 mile to the lodge for activities. Come prepared to “rough” it for the weekend. This camping event is staffed by registered volunteers. Join us for a weekend you will always remember! Upon request, dome tents can be reserved prior to your arrival at no additional cost.
Please register another adult if you are bringing more than one daughter. No tagalong children please.

The 2013 GSCO Trainer's Retreat will take place at Sky High Ranch in Woodland Park, Colorado. This is your chance to relax and have fun as a statewide trainer group, and to have a real impact on how we guide our leaders to deliver the GSLE to Colorado Girl Scouts!
There are two lodging/pricing options for this event:
1. $40/weekend includes all retreat materials as well as lodging at Sky High Ranch (mattress on floor), access to kitchen and indoor plumbing, meals all day Saturday and Sunday breakfast.
2. $30/weekend includes retreat materials, Saturday lunch and dinner.
We have arranged for a block of rooms at a discounted rate at the nearby Woodland Park Country Lodge. Rate includes continental breakfast, and access to a pool and hot tub. Please reserve ASAP to ensure your discount. Need a roommate? We'll be sending out a survey in May, and can help you connect with other trainers who want to buddy up.

Get your camp on with one of these choices of program: Scouting, Nature, Homesteading, Backpacking, and Wilderness Survival Oh My! Set your compass to adventure! Enjoy the rustic setting of MMR backed up to Rocky Mountain National Park, the perfect setting for your dream adventures! (These programs do not include any horseback rides.) Sign up for both consecutive sessions if you wish to attend for 6 days. Cost is $200/per girl for 6-days. The grade level has been lowered to include Juniors! For girls entering grade 4-12.
The cost is $150 per girl for this session. Adult volunteers to meet safety ratio are free. Any additional adults above the safety ratio pay full price if there is available space.
To register you must pay the $25 processing fee per person. During the check out process please enter the names of each person attending; this is required to complete the registration process. Each person attending including ALL girls and adults must be registered members for the 2013 year. Adults must also be approved volunteers and have completed background checks through Girl Scouts of Colorado.

With women still underrepresented in Math and Science careers, the GK-12 project at the University of Colorado Denver will be taking girls on a role-playing adventure into the life of a mathematician and scientist. Girls will crush the stereotypes, develop confidence in their abilities, discover an exciting world of career possibilities, and learn to think and problem solve like a scientist or mathematician. GK-12 is a National Science Foundation funded grant program at CU Denver.

Come learn the basics of archery, and spend the day with your family or troop at one of Girl Scouts of Colorado properties. This half day course will introduce you bow's and arrows', proper stance, and basic shooting technique. Please bring snacks, water, rain gear, sunscreen, and a lunch. All programs are weather dependant, hour lunch break included.
