The It’s Your World-Change it Journey series program offered this fall in Colorado will give girls an inside look into International Human Rights, opening their eyes and hearts to the lives of girls worldwide. With the help of mentors who will meet with the girls, they will gain the skills needed to advocate for an issue that particularly compels them in a final Take Action Project. This could lead to their Gold Award.
Girls will meet twice a month for three months: Dates will be 11-4, 11-18, 12-2, 12-16, 1-6, 1-20

The Pines Unit is hosting their 6th annual Mystery Dinner.
Girls will enjoy this 3 course dinner while trying to decipher the menu. The entire meal consists of 12 items, 1 fork, 1 napkin, 1 toothpick, 1 drink, 8 food items. Each course has 4 items. At the end of each course everything on the table goes away before the next course arrives. This is a fun messy way to celebrate the holiday season with your sister scouts. Girls will also have the opportunity to complete a craft and exchange gifts if the troop so desires.

Girls will learn the basics of being a PA including working with girls and adults, age characteristics of different program levels, as well as program planning and coordination.
The Camp Specialty is for girls interested in being PAs at camp and covers Outdoor Skills including cooking, fire building, and knife safety.
This training is a two-night overnight and will include other activities as well. Other activities may include; hiking/snow games (weather allowing), crafts, farm tour, campfire, etc. Girls will have the opportunity to mix training with good old fashion camp fun!
Girls must have completed their Leader In Action award before they can register for this program.
After this training, girls will need to complete six activity sessions (PA internship) to complete their training and earn their pin.
Adults are encouraged (but not required) to attend. The cost is free and you may be asked to help lead sections of the training if applicable/experienced. I.e. Outdoor Cooking, Knife Safety, intro to GSUSA Journeys, etc. Adult training including “overnights” is a plus.
Minimum of 5 adult volunteers required to run this event.

Stay at Tomahawk Ranch for 3 days and 2 nights, in a recently renovated cabin with your family and, if you choose, your friends. The cabins are equipped with rooms with bunks, heating, electricity, bathroom facilities, full kitchens and living rooms.
We schedule many activities that are age specific and emphasize individual or family participation. Join in, or just take it easy and stay warm with some hot cocoa by the fireside.
Price includes a two night stay, 6 meals and snacks (we accommodate dietary needs to including guests with food-borne allergies). Price as well includes all family camp programs and activities.
0-5 year olds: Free
6-17: $70pp
18+: $85pp

This workshop is held at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys. In this one hour program, children will create a small house with graham crackers, icing, and candy. A workshop fee of $10 includes admission to the museum galleries and all of the supplies for 1 child to build a house. At least 1 adult is required for every 8 children and the adult admission fee is $6. Special exhibitions at the museum include "Celebrating 100 Years of Girl Scouts", which features dolls dressed in Girl Scout uniforms from the past 100 years.
Saturdays and Sundays between 12/8 and 12/23: Workshops are held on Saturdays at11:00am & 2:00pm, and Sundays at 1:30pm.
Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Jillian at 303-322-1053 or education@dmmdt.org. Prepayment is required for the workshop fee. We ask that all payments are made by November 30.
