Come join us at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! Enjoy all the amenities of the zoo, including the African Rift Valley, visit the gorillas, explore with the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Education department or just have fun being around your Girl Scout sisters from all over the council.
SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITY!!!! We are in need of Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts and adults to do face painting at this event. All Volunteers will receive admission to the zoo and a patch.
Recognition activities from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Adoption ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m. This year, we are adopting the Meerkats.
Major concessions, the tram and Petting Zoo will be open, weather permitting. The tram fee is $1.00 for the entire day. The carousel will be open for $2.00 a ride. The Mountaineer Sky Ride is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids, ages 3-11.

Zoo Day 2012 patches: $1.75 per patch
If Girl Scouts of Colorado cancels Zoo Day due to adverse weather conditions, Zoo Day 2012 tickets will be valid any Sunday through May 27, 2012. Cancellation will be broadcast on radio stations KOA 850 AM or KKFM 98.1 FM, and will be on the Event Cancellation Line at (719) 597-8603, ext. 75.
*No refunds on tickets or patches.
*Tickets must be purchased through the Colorado Springs Service Center Council Shop to receive the Girl Scout rate.
*Discounts and family passes cannot be applied toward this event. Zoo memberships may be utilized.
Patches and additional information will be given to the leader or parent at the Girl Scout Table at Zoo Day. Zoo Day registration will NOT be accepted at the gate during Zoo Day.
