If you'd like to reduce the pollution caused by plastic bags, now's your chance to speak up.  Denver City Council is asking for input on a proposed 5 cent fee for every plastic and paper bag used to carry out groceries in Denver. The City wants people to carry reusable bags instead.

You can learn more about the issue, then take action.  Send a letter to Mayor Hancock and the Denver City Council person who represents your area and explain your position. Or create your own 2 minute presentation to share with the Denver City Council at its meeting on Tuesday September 30 from 5pm - 8pm.
