The Denver Gem & Mineral Show is a wonderful opportunity for kids of all ages to explore the amazing world of minerals, rocks, geology, fossils and gems.

Cost: $4.00 (girl) / $6.00 (adult)

The show offers displays and sales of gems, minerals, and fossils from all over the world; educational information for a wide array of topics in geology; demonstrations of lapidary arts and faceting; mineral identification; gold panning; and grab bags for $1 with 10 labeled mineral or fossil specimens.  There will be a special exhibit from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science on Snowmastodon.   At 1 pm on Saturday, Dr. Pete Modreski will give a talk for youth about starting a rock and mineral collection. 

Girl Scouts and Troop Leaders in uniform (or with membership ID) will be admitted free. 

Admission includes access to the Colorado Fossil Expo (Plaza Annex)
Adults: $6.00  Seniors (65+): $4.00
Teens: $4.00  Under 13 free with an adult

Tickets are available at the door. Cash and checks only, please. Sorry, credit cards cannot be accepted at this time.
