Girl Scouts of Colorado is proud to celebrate and honor top women leaders in our communities. These women have reached remarkable levels of achievement as business, community, philanthropic and civic leaders, and are inspiring role models for today’s Girl Scouts.

Since 1994, Girl Scouts has honored 141 incredible leaders in the Pikes Peak region as Women of Distinction, Sandy Taylor Distinguished Community Service Awardees*, Women to Watch*, and Mary Jean Larson Community Service Awardees*. Each of these incredible women serve as a leader and role model in our community, and we appreciate her service and dedication to making the world a better place.

*Sandy Taylor Distinguished Community Service Award (2013–2016) recognized a Woman of Distinction with outstanding community engagement. Named for Sandy Taylor’s longtime dedication to Girl Scouts.

*Women to Watch (2012–2013) acknowledged emerging leaders for their business success and generous contributions to our community.

*Mary Jean Larson Community Service Award (2001–2009) honored the legacy of Mary Jean Larson, known for her passion for community and civic leadership.
