Discover the World of Satellites and Space Careers! Calling all Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to embark on an out-of-this-world adventure with Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT)! This unique program, "Satellite Explorers: Exploring Satellites and Space Careers with Blue Canyon Technologies," offers an immersive experience into the fascinating realm of satellite technology and the diverse careers that bring these marvels to life.
Girl Scouts will:
- Learn about BCT's unique small satellites, their importance, and their uses.
- Create a model satellite to understand its special components and mission functions.
- Explore a variety of aerospace careers and hear from BCT engineers, project managers, and other professionals about their roles and journeys.
- Tour the Blue Canyon Technologies facility to see where satellites are made.
Girl Scout participants will also earn the exclusive Blue Canyon Technologies Satellite Explorers' patch!
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insights into the exciting field of space technology.
- We are asking for 10 Volunteers to assist girls with moving stations at the facility. If interested complete our Program & Events Volunteer Registration form.
All attendees must be US Citizens. Individuals 18+ will need to provide a valid U.S. issued ID (driver's license/state ID card), AND proof of citizenship (US passport/birth certificate/etc.). We strongly encourage all youth attendees (under 18 years of age) to bring either a school ID or driver's license (if applicable).

- This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel allowing another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
