Join us for a new Tools for Independence Series for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassador. In each session, Girl Scouts learn and practice skills that are geared towards independence. From bike maintenance skills to owning a pet to planning a party and more – all great skills that will carry on through life!

Register your Girl Scout for each month's activities individually. See the attached list of dates, activities, materials needed and zoom meeting information, once you register and, register for them all! Each meeting will take place a Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This month:

May 2 – Outdoor Safety with “Get Lost” Kits

Summer's coming up and that means adventure! Come to this meeting to create your own kit for getting lost in the wilderness! 

 

Materials: 

  • Small container or bag of choice 
  • Small Paracord 
  • Band-Aids 
  • Antiseptic Wipes 
  • Travel-sized sunscreen and bug spray 

Before this event, please take the time to review the Girl Scouts of Colorado’s Internet Safety Pledge, and then virtually sign it with your girl. As always, safety is a top priority at Girl Scouts of Colorado, and we want to ensure she is staying safe while online.
