Promise Partners

Promise Partners

Promise Partners is a group of lifetime and alumnae Girl Scouts based in Northern Colorado named for the Girl Scout Promise and the girl-adult partnership—both at the heart of Girl Scouting at any level.

Who can be a Promise Partner?
If you were ever involved in Girl Scouting, as a girl or adult, anywhere in the world, you are welcome to join!

Why join Promise Partners?
It’s fun!  Members gather at least four times a year to socialize and work on projects.  Meetings are held in Loveland, Longmont, Ft. Collins, Estes Park, and even the regional GSCO camp properties. Projects include:

  • Oral Histories
  • GSCO History Collection:  Work on the archives every Tuesday morning in Loveland
  • History Programming:  Developing Girl Scout programs for girls
  • Songbirds Choir: 3rd Sunday of each month.

Promise Partners Accomplishments

  • Spearheaded the drive for the Girl Scout License Plate in Colorado.
  • Teamed with the American Legion to make pocket flags for our troops in Afghanistan.
  • Partnered with area museums on 100th anniversary exhibits.
  • Primary financial supporters of the Songbird Choir and the storage and preservation of GSCO’s historical archives.
  • Sponsored the unearthing of the Meadow Mountain Ranch time capsule, which was buried 25 years ago.
  • Long-time financial supporters of GSCO camp properties.
