Packing for Impact with Project C.U.R.E.
All Girl Scouts are invited to Packing for Impact with Project C.U.R.E. Packing for Impact is a collaborative effort between Girl Scouts, Project C.U.R.E. and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. During the event girls will fill Kits for Kids, engage in fun activities with medical personnel and other Girl Scouts, and learn about children around the world that they will be helping. The Project C.U.R.E. Kits for Kids program provides personal hygiene and basic "medicine cabinet" items that are scarce in the developing world. Deliver Health & Hope with Us on November 18!
Time: We have 3 sessions to choose from, 9 – 11 a.m.; 12-2 p.m.; 2:15- 4:15 p.m.
Cost: $6/kit. The cost for the event for each Juliette or troops is based on the number of kits the girls plan to bring, instead of an individual cost. Troops can choose the number of kits they plan to bring and pay for those kits. Some troops plan on one kit per girl, others divide up the supply list and bring fewer kits than girls and other troops bring more kits than girls. It’s really up to your Girl Scouts on how many supplies they want to collect to create kits and what works best for your troop.
This is a popular event and fills to capacity each year. Register early to reserve your spot!
Each participating girl who attends the Packing for Impact event will get an event patch.
