100 Distinguished Alumnae

Nomination deadline is extended to April 15, 2012.

Eligibility

Any woman living in Colorado who currently or previously was a member of Girl Scouts of the USA as a girl, adult, volunteer or staff member.

Selection Criteria

The 100 Distinguished Alumnae will be recognized for their accomplishments and service in one or more of the following areas:
• Achievement in her career of choice.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Service to the community.
• Commitment to creating diverse communities of success.
• Living the Girl Scout Promise and Law as an adult.

Selection Process

The Selection Committee will consist of an outside panel of civic and community leaders throughout Colorado, representing a cross-section of the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Announcement of Honorees

Honorees will be notified on April 15, 2012 via email and announced to the public on May 9, 2012. Honorees will be invited to participate in “Colorado Sings” on Saturday, June 9 , 2012 at the State Capitol in Denver. Honorees will also be recognized on the Girl Scouts of Colorado website, in the Alumnae newsletter and other public relations materials.
