Announcement of Honorees
Honorees will be notified on April 15, 2012 via email and announced to the public on May 9, 2012. Honorees will be invited to participate in “Colorado Sings” on Saturday, June 9 , 2012 at the State Capitol in Denver. Honorees will also be recognized on the Girl Scouts of Colorado website, in the Alumnae newsletter and other public relations materials.
List outstanding achievements which qualify the nominee for the distinction and give examples of how these achievements have made a significant impact on the community either through her working to effect change within an organization or working to benefit another organization.
How does the nominee demonstrate leadership in her community?
List community service activities past and present, including Girl Scouts, as well as membership and leadership in professional organizations. How does the nominee show a commitment to diverse communities?
